Please note - the site must be shown to students (it is not hidden) in order to be able to publish syllabi.

General information about the course, including the syllabus, can be published so that it is available to users of the moodle system, regardless of registration and access to the website.

  • Accessibility: You can check whether your file meets the accessibility requirements using the accessibility compatibility check mechanism built into the Word software.
File -> Info -> Check for Issues -> Check Accessibility
 
  • Publishing the file also on the course website: the syllabus must be published in the usual way (as a file at the top of the moodle website) in addition.

1. Enter the course website and go to the "Settings" tab 

On the panel under the name of the course there is a "settings" button, the second one the left.

2. In the "Course Summary" window, write, for example, the words "Syllabus - Winter Semester 2024" and underline the words.

3. Click on the add link (chain) icon:

In the "course summary" section a chain icon is on the top of the writing field, in the middle

4. In the window that opens, click on "Browse repositories":

5. Click on "Choose File", locate your syllabus file and add it:

8. Click "Upload this file"

"Upload file" button has a blue background and is located at the bottom of the window

Now those who search for the course website in the moodle system, will be able to see in the preview the name of the course, the names of the teachers and also a link to the syllabus file.

To check, copy the direct link to the main page of your website and open it in an incognito mode window without logging in to the system:
